Jessica Pruden, the Threatened and Endangered Species Coordinator for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services’ Michigan Field Office in East Lansing, will be presenting on federally listed freshwater mussels in Michigan.

Jessica will also present on the Endangered Species Act (ESA) compliance process including a summary of the Michigan All Species Determination Key and navigating the regulatory compliance process, as well as touching on conservation measures that might be useful for consideration during project planning.

Jessica is the Threatened and Endangered Species Coordinator for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services’ Michigan Field Office in East Lansing. She is the lead in her office for issues regarding federally listed mussels and copperbelly watersnake. She also serves as the site supervisor for members of the Huron Pines AmeriCorps program that the USFWS hosts annually.
