Dr. Don Uzarski of Central Michigan University’s Institute for Great Lakes Research (CMU), Dr. Matt Cooper (CMU), and Todd Redder, Senior Environmental and Water Resource Engineer at LimnoTech will discuss the Great Lakes Coastal Monitoring Program (GLCWMP).

The GLCWMP involves monitoring of Great Lakes coastal wetland biota, habitat, and water quality to provide information on coastal wetland condition using fish, birds, calling anurans, wetland vegetation, aquatic macroinvertebrates, and water quality. Presenters will cover the development and implementation of the program and provide examples of how these data can be accessed and used.
